A very mis-leading statistic..... If 100 people want to buy a particular car,
and only 50 are produced, they will sell quickly. If 500 are produced, then they will sit in inventory longer. The majority of these cars are low volume products. Yes, the article IS comparing turnover and not volumes. Old story of supply and demand.
