A signature from a significant public figure might add to the rarity and value of a car, especially
if they don't give out many autographs. In the case of Carrol Shelby, there are so many copies of his signature out there that the signature adds nothing of value to anything - unless the item itself is rare or unique.Anyone can buy Carrol Shelby's signature and have it placed on anything except a blank check. I don't think Carrol even personally signs anymore. He probably has a stamp made for that purpose.
