On Identifying Pictures When Posting.
.After reading Larry's post below I felt the need to comment.

First let me say how much I enjoy the pictures posted here. Some are of little or no interest to me and those I either open and close quickly or, because of the title of the posting indicates a topic/car e.g. 'Muscle Car" I pass by. Others I linger over and take time to enjoy. In either case I appreciate the contributions the poster made.

I have on occasion asked if pictures can be identified not to add a burden to the poster but in order to learn. I hate to see a car that interests me and have no knowledge about it. It is akin to visiting an art museum and seeing a beautiful painting. To me it is not enough to just see it. I want to know what it is titled, when and by whom it was created and any comments the museum has posted. In other words, be it a car show, a museum or a posting of pictures here it is more than the image alone.

As for expecting posters to identify each and every car, I don't! As for greatly appreciating the extra effort when they can and do, to the benefit of many here on the Zone, I do!!!

For those members who have id'd pictures for me and/or others who have asked.......A tip of the Mault chapeau.

Finally my asking has never been intended as a critique of the posters pictures or intent. I have no idea why the comment about "cuttting some slack" was included in the post.

"nuff said.
