David, I'm well aware that they were sold ONLY in Canada,
I'm Canadian. Point is that the Beaumont was a Pontiac not a Chevrolet, and sold by the Pontiac division of GM. There are many Canadian models that were variants of US and Chevy models. One, for example, was the Acadian, AGAIN, sold by Pontiac, but a variant of the Chevy Nova. By the way, Chevy models such as the Malibu, Chevelle, and Nova were also available in Canada. Pontiac, in Canada, was in direct competition with the Chevrolet counterparts even though, in many cases, they used Chevy drivetrains.
