Out of touch
I've been collecting 1:24 scale diecast cars since the mid 80's. Danbury's '57 Chevy convertible was my first. My collection has grown extensively over the years and I have outgrown my space to display all my replicas. About 50 or so cars in their original packaging are in a safe dry place with no where to go. I haven't received any mailings for quite some time from DM, although I did receive a watered down "Classics of the Open Road". Is DM headed down the same road as FM? Is it a manufacturing problem? I have been somewhat out of touch with my hobby and haven't been pursuing it as I used to. I don't think I want to start over with 1:18 collecting. I've come too far with my collection for that. Maybe it's time to hang it up.
