Great story. My older brother had a similar experience when we was investigating...
... the purchase of his new car. He finally settled on a Toyota Venza crossover. He reasoned the ingress/egress was easier on his 71 year old knees.

I've been very fortunate and I don't have knee or joint problems. Getting in and out of my Corvette is never a problem for me (knock on wood) but is certainly is for virtually all of my friends. Everyone complains how difficult it is to get in and out of my car. I usually have to help them and for some, I just put the top down first.

Regarding the Veyron, I'm catching heck just trying to figure out how to afford another 1:18 version of the car!
