Message: Like it or understand it or not, older cars with low mileage are worth more than the same old car with high mileage. Once your over 20k the values level out and depend on condition more than the mileage. That's just the way it is. Most cars are bought to be used, and so just decrease in value, but some for whatever reason are not used. After a period of time they increase and depending on the model of vehicle some increase a lot.
