Marlowe I "get" what your saying but.....
This car having 2,100 miles makes the difference of it being with $15,000-$20,000+ where if the miles tack on and say it has 60,000-80,000 miles it then will become a $6000-$8,000 car. Ultra low mileage cars, especially cars like this Mark V are far more valuable. You can find a super clean mark V with 80-100K miles for $5,000,-$6,000 G or less any day of the week. There's an old saying and the same olds true for "survivior" class cars with original paint, interior etc, You only have original ONCE, same here you can only have new condition ONCE. After that it becomes "Restored" once you have to redo everything to get it to look new.
