I prefer the cleaner style of the Catalina / Ventura hardtops for '61, but
would have preferred to avoid the "Slim Jim" Roto-Hydramatics in the smaller full-size cars. Thus, a 4-speed would have been the way to go. (Longer wheelbase Star Chief / Bonneville series cars retained the excellent 4-speed Hydramatics.)
