Rediscovering the incredible beauty of our diecasts.
I have been packing up my 130 plus diecasts preparatory to moving my display cabinets down to the basement and I'm rediscovering the precision of the little cars. I'm blown away again. Usually, when I get a new one, after a close inspection, it goes in the cabinet, rarely to be handled again. This has given me the opportunity to really look at them once more, and to appreciate the craftsmanship in their construction. For example, I'm newly astonished by the interior of the DM '59 Impala. I've also discovered some things that need repair, but that will have to wait until they are in their new home.
