MY FIRST CAR was a 1959 Chevy Impala 2-dr. HT. What made it unique was that
it started in all the gears. If it was left in "Drive", I could start the car, and immediately bolt forward. Same for "Reverse", which could be dangerous at times. :) Man could that baby go! I'd take it on the backroads of Cottage Grove, the city I lived in at the time, and get her up to 70 or 75 miles. With the bat-wing fins, going that fast, the rear-end of the car would almost lift off the ground. I loved that car!
