I just love these photos as it feeds my life-long fascination with trucks. Interestingly...
... (at least to myself) although I love trucks, my knowledge of them couldn't fill the space of a pimple on a mosquitoes behind. Why is it necessary to chock the wheels? Couldn't the same methods of deploying the emergency brake and putting it in gear be sufficient on a flat surface? Or is it due to the weight of the truck that the "chock" is a vital safety measure to provide stopping power?
