Another little story about a small but mighty car
I told a story in an earlier post about driving a Subaru 360 from San Diego to Portland and how well it did and going to work for the Citroën dealership and trading the 1970 360 for a nice Citroën DS. Well the Citroën was a 1968 and like new then and it was white with a black top. I loved that car. This was 1972. Some time later it got stolen and about 6 mo later it was found up in Canada along with several other stolen cars. It had been repainted my favorite color purple with a white top and new name plates made for it and it was now called a Feardon. That's right Feardon . It went back to the Citroën dealership because for some reason it was never transferred to my name buy the dealer and Roger called me one day and ask if I wanted my car back and when I saw it I said yes, loved the color and it had a red interior. A regency purple Citroën with a white top and red interior, nice combination, at least I liked it. So I think I can say in all honesty that I have owned a one of a kind car, a purple Feardon. This is a true store I kid you not.
