This whole thing with the Danbury Mint and the Chinese factory closing is very discouraging. It is a real shame that an American based company can't step in, obtain the molds somehow(which may mean purchase them) and get much of the situation back on track. But,I am not sure the market for "our cars" is as strong as it was a few years ago. The younger people don't seem as interested and I know the prices would be increased a good 25% or so right off the bat. I bet that Danbury Mint is still interested especially since the Franklin Mint is out and they could offer them along with the other stuff they sell. Let's hope they can work something out even if the annual production has to be scaled back. If the quality was maintained I would be willing to may more and make sure to buy a few from them.
