I think I read that DM owns the molds but they're being held hostage...
... by the Chinese government that seized the factory where they were stored. My understanding is that other companies experiencing the same problem have tried in vane negotiating with the Chinese government to recover them.

This is pure speculation on my part but I think those molds are forever gone. Sadly, the handwriting appears to be on the wall too. It was a great run. We have been treated to some great models and I enjoyed the experience. Even though I do harbor an ember of hope, mentally I've moved on.
