Message: Of course ebay is a true auction, but it is also a timed auction which of course a traditional auction is not. On ebay you must put your bid in before the end time, this does not happen in a traditional auction. Apart from that they work the same way. Nothing wrong with sniping, whoever offers the most wins the item. simple as that.
