Message:
I buy duplicates for many reasons and I have at least 50 models with duplicates, few are up to 6...
Reasons
1) Obsession with a model
2) Variety in the models, e.g. the tulipwood HS speedster
3) Parts
4) Different editions
5) Rarity, the model is so rare that x2 makes it rarer
6) Sequential numbers, in one instance I have #3 and #4
7) Resale, speculation, or whatever you want to call it, I enjoy trading, just don't have much time for the selling aspect
8) a display copy on the shelf and a better copy in a box
9) future projects
10) upgrading, aka finding a better copy
