Message: Well the livery you can get from Pattos.............. but the history comes strictly from my head. This car with this paint job was made up by Exoto for a model show a number of years ago. None of the five Corvette GS cars was ever painted this way in real life. I had never been interested in getting this car in the past because it had no history but I found it on specdial sale and realized that the colors matched the Scuderia Filipinetti coat of arms. I am a big Filipinetti fan with nine of their cars in my collection - five of which are custom made "on off" models. My interest in the Filipinetti cars lead me to have the "SCUDERIA FILIPINETTI" script custom made for me in dry transfers. Sadly the guy who made them for me is no longer in business so I use them sparingly. Anyway I saw a chance to make this "show" car into a race car by inventing a bit of history.
