Help please - Question on CMC W196 Monoposto
i've followed this forum for years though this is my first post and I'm looking
for a little help. I'm a big fan of CMC models and have quite a few. I recently
sold a "NIB" CMC 1:18 Mercedes Benz W196 Monoposto Fangio LE (now have
the streamliner mounted on the MB transporter... stunning!). Never took
it out of the box more than for a picture (with packing material still in place).
Can someone who has the W196 Monoposto (any) please tell me if the wheels
on these older CMC's were removable? The buyer accused me of fraud stating
the the wheels and steering column were glued on. I have a few older CMC's
and the steering tends to freeze up and requires very gentle coaxing to free
them up. I figured I'd ask the experts so am hoping one of you folks can fill
me in on the features of this particular model.
