Without having accurate information regarding Brooklin's retail sales
in the U.S., I don't see how you can reach the conclusion that a couple of models have been delayed or rescheduled due to a lack of sales. Models may be rescheduled, it seems to me, for a variety of reasons (supplier issues, masters not being received in a timely manner, masters needing rework for some reason or another, or just a decision by management that the model should be put off).
Implying that poor retail sales are responsible for changes in schedules seems to me to be a bit of a reach, unless you are privy to Brooklin's sales numbers or have other information from a reliable source.
I'd be very interested to learn what information you have which shows poor retail sales of Brooklin models. Can you elaborate? I don't think they would continue to publish (and almost always meet) production schedules if sales were less than projected. The Shelby Mustangs and '58 Buicks have sold well, I understand, as have the Buick Collection cars and the recent Bentley. There's been a good bit of discussion about the forthcoming DeSoto station wagon, which seems to indicate that folks are looking forward to it and therefore it should do well in the marketplace.
