David, that '37 Chevrolet is one of my favorites too.
It was one of my early Brooklin acquistions, given to me by my wife as a birthday present in August, 1981. The color on mine, as far as I can tell from Autocolor Library, is Coronary Green--interesting name for a color. Maybe GM was trying to market these cars to young doctors who couldn't yet afford a Buick.
Some years after I got the car, the tires cracked and that, I understand, was a problem with some early Brooklin tires. Brooklin graciously supplied me with a new set, and this was, I think, before the internet and before Amanda even! I must have used snail mail. That set has lasted perfectly. Even as a very early Brooklin, the casting on this '37 Chevy is amazingly accurate and, as you say, David, represents the era so well. Glad you found yours at EWA.
