Message: The 1937 Olds & my favorite movie My favorite movie, Jean Shepherd's "A Christmas Story", features a 1937 Oldsmobile Model F-37 four-door trunkback sedan---very close to the wonderful L-37 of Brooklin. This is a beloved American movie, telling a heart warming story of growing up in the 1930's. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Christmas_Story For anyone that hasn't seen it, I highly recommend it---and the Oldsmobile plays a nice role in this movie. (My apologies if this movie has already been a topic of discussion.)
