Message: Albert - An unusual color, possibly a repaint? In GM in Miniature... I describe this model and have a large photo of it in pp 73-74. I have only ever seen this model whether in top up or open form in Sequoia Cream. Maybe this is a color trial?The purple model in the photo above appears to have non-Design Studio stick on whitewalls and are the headlight lenses opaque or clear? Nonetheless, it is a very nice model.

This DS 2 is still a mystery because all the models released stated by Shel Platt #13926.4.1.1

Yes, I see I even labelled the photo (unconsciously) as a '48 despite it being a "'47" (EOM) by Randall Olson #13926.4.1.1.1
