M. C. Classics has nothing to do with Motor City of Calif.
Motor City Classics was based in Toledo, Ohio last I heard. But the owner is Maurice Olgyvoke of Miami who runs Intermarket USA which is an importer of model cars. The Motor City Classics models are made in China and all are 1/18 scale unless there is something very new. I called their office in Toledo many years ago to ask if my club could tour they factory (or warehouse) and they said they just have an office.
I try to see Maurice every winter and I did talk to him a few months ago to find out where I can buy the new 1/43 scale Wellys. But he said he only imports the 1/18 and 1/24 scale models. He said 1/43 toys do not sell in this country. Later I stopped by his Miami office, but they had moved.
