The US mail brought me something different today, an Hispano Suiza J12. (pic)
Arriving in less than two weeks from Guanghou Guang Dong, China, this is the model of a car that appeared briefly in MOONRAKER (1979), a James Bond film. A few minutes of research seems to show that this is an Hispano Suiza J12 cabriolet or Decapotable, with body by Saoutchik, circa 1936. It is made of die cast metal and plastic and was neatly packaged. Best of all, the whole thing, including postage, was just about $20. The Bond series models are sometimes quite interesting. I also like the figures!

I just positioned it in a little display table with my other "parade cars."
