1941 instead of 1940? (EOM) by Jacques Roest #14374.1
The car was a 1940 model but it paced the 1941 race. (EOM) by Dick Browne #14374.2Moderator
It's not the dating. The Newports were built in 1940; BRK classified this one as the 1941 by David Holcombe #14374.3
Also, it did dual duty as a pacemaker, an early, gasoline version of a modern day medical marvel. (EOM) by John Kuvakas #14374.4
