Message: How sad! The Yankees are everything that is wrong with major league baseball...and every reason needed that there should be salary caps in the game. The Yankees didn't WIN aonther World Series....they BOUGHT another World Series. There is a difference. They have won 27 world championships. The only American league team that comes close is the Athletics with 9. They won 5 while in Philadelphia, none in Kansas City, and 4 in Oakland. As for the National League...the team with the most championships are the St. Louis Cardinals with 10. Those numbers alone show the desparity in the game. The Yankees have the most money, and they are able to continually buy the best players...thus they win the most championships. Not knocking the players...but rather the owners and the fact that Bud Selig (and those previous in his position) have failed to fix the problem. It is just wrong!
