I first saw the real SS in the Indy museum years ago.  When John Day and later Starter kitted it in 1/43 I tried those too.  But here for only $28.95 or thereabouts is a real gem. Auto Art made their 1/18 a perfect color and finish and here they did in 1/43 too.  The hood and body belt straps look a wee big or thick and I wish they had seen the old photos I saw with the curved pipe that came out of the side door.  But anybody can add that.  Besides it's probably been removed from the car in the museum.  Corvette collectors: YOU GOTTA HAVE THIS!
