This is the beautiful, sporty bodystyle...done to 21st Century tastes (black x 2) and sans the rear deck mounted spoiler found on the Bittersweet car. As a young guy in Columbus, Ohio, I remember the popularity of the Bittersweet color, as well as other yellows and metallic beiges and reds;  Both versions feature the red fender liners denoting the deep breathing W30 option. I like both of these very much; this 3rd bodystyle done by Lane brings full circle replicas of all the sport Olds A-Bodys for '70-72. This fastbsck seems to have jelled the best of all. The body is crisp and intricate and the fit and finish is the best of the series.

The interior is different from the 1970 version of this bodystyle in that the door panels are similar to those of the Cutlass Supreme and the overall detailling of the cabin seems to be sharper this time around.
Get one of these and you won't be sorry; they are sure to sell out quickly!!!

A very impressive model.  It's certainly bigger and heavier than I thought it would be, a good thing.  In my opinion, this model looks best in black.  I own 2 Lane's, this and the Mayfair Maze 68 Firebird, I couldn't be more impressed.

I've always been impressed with Exact Detail quality.  This car is no exception.  This car looks great displayed next to the black '71 SX in my collection.  Fit, finish and details are great.  The one criticism that I have is that the roofline just doesn't look right.  Side glass opening at the windshield looks too big.  Proportioning seems to be a problem on all the "high-end" cars, not only from Exact Detail, but from GMP as well.  Lane did a great job in this respect with the Firebird.  I'd rather sacrifice the brake and fuel lines for a perfectly proportioned body.  That said, this car is definitely a must for Olds lovers!
