DM has released its version of the 1931 Budweiser Delivery Truck in good style. It has a jaunty look for a commercial vehicle with its bright red color and neatly detailed lettering. The canvas top has been installed precisely without creases or folds and fits flush into the roof lines. Doors and windows fit snugly into their opening, paint work is excellent and much care given the overall assembly. Interior features are adequate and include headliner components such as seamed fabric and domelight. Other details include a tool box under the seat and an opening front window.

Fun additions which are included with this model are 14 miniature barrels of barley malt syrup brightly painted in red and 20 boxes of yeast which can be configured either inside or outside the model when displayed. (Remember, this was Prohibition, so Bud couldn’t sell beer!) Lettering detail on these items is very good. Because of the bright colors of this model, correctness of body silhouette, and fun additions, it is an immediate and exciting conversational standout when included with other models. Your reviewer can't pass up the opportunity to say, "This Bud's for you!" The issue price is $120 + $8 S&H. (06/29/1998)
