The
1931
Ford
Delivery
Sedan
was
a
popular
truck
in
its
day,
and
the
folks
at
the Danbury Mint are determined to evoke all the nostalgia of those times with a
collection of trucks "branded" with old familiar names such as Campbell's Soup
and Morton's Salt. There will be four trucks in each collection, starting with the
’31 Ford. We won’t re-review the chassis, cab and engine - these are all
identical to the Busch Yeast delivery van already reviewed. The quality is good
- the question is whether you prefer salt or soup, or both? The issue price is $120 + $8 S&H. [Reviewed 7/26/97]
