just
received
an
advance
copy
of
Danbury's
'41
Chevy
Special
Deluxe
convertible
and it is a real charmer. Finished in tan with a removable black top
(canvas over a plastic frame with chromed fittings and red piping)
AND removable fender skirts, it is a delight. The little details
abound - door lock knobs, window and windwing knobs, dash
details, and on and on. A great nostalgic trip to the last of the

Here's some additional comments from Jay Engel: I thought I'd
broken the model because I noticed that one wiper blade was
askew...so I GENTLY pushed it down into the normal
position,,,,noticed the other one moved just slightly, read the
instruction sheet, and there it was!!! OPERATIONAL
WIPERS...something real different. I'm astounded beyond
words... (I didn't get instructions with the advance copy - so this
was a delightful surprise - JO)

rest of the model is beyond fantastic. Nothing is left to
question...this model is the product of totally outstanding
research...from the colors to the proportions to the stance to all
those little Chevy details which seem to abound everywhere on this
replica, DM didn't miss a trick. I don't care what you're collecting
preference is, this '41 CHEVY SPECIAL DELUXE
CONVWERTIBLE is an unequivocal MUST HAVE! I give this
