The model appears nicely detailed with an operating winch, loading ramps. tie-down straps, etc. Since this a "cab-over", the motor is concealed beneath removeable floorboards. The onboard toolbox opens but someone left the tools back at the garage since it's empty. Windshields open forward. The color is a deep blue, almost black, and is nicely applied. Tampo imprinting on the doors is good and reads "DM Vintage Show Cars". The truck bed is not large, best accommodating a smaller car such as a two door coupe, but appears to be made of real wood. (Comments from scanmaster Mike Martin). This is the first release in a new series for DM. There will be four models issued, with the next to be a 1952 Chevrolet four-car carrier. The issue price is $139 + $8 S&H. (09/12/1998) (09/12/1998) |
