AUTOArt released another variation of the BMW Z4 competition coupe, this time a 2006 model year in Team Schubert regalia. Previous releases included the 2007 Red Bull and a plain white version.
The model itself is a neat and aggressive looking model. The aggressive and sharp lines of this Z4 are emphasized with the help of the flat-black and white paint scheme, flared fenders, and the enormous rear wing holding this little German rocket to the payment. The extreme low-profile with vented rear-fenders also provide for a menacing view for the competition trying to overtake this car.
The sparse interior is detailed with a driver’s seat, roll cage, and dash. The fact that this is a race car and sealed-body model, there isn’t much more detail to the release than what you see in the photos. The tires feature yellow-letter DUNLOP SPORTMAXX and the disc brakes and calipers are visible through the wheels. The sponsorship lettering and BMW emblems are all done very well, and I didn’t notice any paint flaws or decal flaws.
Overall this is a nice image for BMW race cars and this class in general. Although it is a sealed-body release, it will look great next to other cars from its class.
