So, you’re tired of olive drab? And you’re a Desert Storm buff? Well, FM, through its Armour division, has provided the “Desert Storm” M966 Humvee as well. Same great vehicle; same set of extras; different color scheme – all you need to add is some sand. And, the issue price of $69.00 makes it almost a no-brainer to get one to display with the “camo” version (that’s what I did!). Considering the level of detail, and the “extras” you get, I don’t even mind the dogleg door hinges. When you pick the image up, you’re struck by how hefty a chunk of die cast metal it is. This is truly a great buy for the collector of military hardware.
Hmmm, I just realized that the Abrams tank, also from the Armour collection, is also a 1:24 scale image. Maybe I should get one of the Desert Storm versions to display with the Humvee. It’d show just how large the amazing Abrams is next to a normal-sized vehicle. And the price, at $195.00, is right in line with the Humvee image’s bargain price. Oh my…
The issue price is $69.
