The model is a recreation of one of the most decorated subs of WW II, assisting in spotting Japan's fearsome battleship, Yamato, in April 1945. It is mahogany, hand-painted, and hand-signed by Captain Slade Cutter, four-time recipient of the Navy Cross. Included is a polished hardwood base and portfolio with matching number certificate. The issue price is $495.
