In 1954, Mercedes-Benz returned to Formula 1 racing with the Mercedes W196. The Mercedes W196 Streamliner proceeded to win 9 of 12 races at the hands of Juan Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss. With its premiere at Reims, the "Typ Monza" version stunned the racing world. Never before had anyone seen such an aerodynamic and streamlined racing car. CMC has replicated this brilliant legend in 1100 individually cast parts. (10/10/2006) |
