This is a special version of the M-033. This commemorates the last white Mercedes-Benz race car. F.Y.I: Back when Grand Prix racing started, each country was given a racing color for it's TEAM cars (France - blue; Italy - red; Germany - white; ect...). In 1934, in an attempt to reduce the weight (to shave one kilogram and meet the 750-kg formula weight-limit) Mercedes-Benz stripped the paint off it's race car to reveals it's bare aluminum body. They raced the car there that weekend at the Eifelrennen race at the Nurburgring. The car was given the nickname "Silver Arrow" and ever since, Mercedes-Benz has painted it's race cars silver.
