TFM has long been a steady provider of Corvette models for us diecastaholics. But over the years certain model years have been neglected. Once again, Michelle Peters of Mint Models has come to our rescue. Utilizing Franklin's tooling of the 1978 Pace Car, this image is thoroughly new looking.
Offered in black on black, the car looks positively stunning while a little sinister. The paint is flawlessy applied, glossy and even. The over-sized front air dam and rear spoiler that adorned the Pace Car was used to full effect in the representative 'look' of this car. The black interior only adds to that look. The belts are gorgeous fabric and photo-etch examples and look realistic. The gauges and steering wheel and console parts are extremely well done.
The engine is very respectful for it's older tech; and though this model does not have all the bells and whistles of today's higher end offerings, the perfect rendering of the diecast has been captured well and grants us a 'missing link' in great fashion.
