Here's a most interesting little car that I have high praises and some problems with. Overall, this is one helluva replica. Fit and finish is beyond reproach. The Rangoon Red paint is flawless and the operating features are brilliantly designed and executed. The spring loaded scissors hinges on the hood are sturdy and probably operate better than the 1:1. The door hinges are perfect and again provide a positive closure and sturdiness that makes you wonder why doglegs are still so prevalent. Ford has a better idea for sure!!! The engine compartment behind the delicate PE'd hexagonal grill is a perfect ten...including all the proper engine stickers, wiring,the electrical system from the battery cables to the solenoid,... well, if it ain't in there, it never was.

The interior is near perfection. It sports a gorgeous dash with readable gauges, a working shift lever, adjustable and folding front seats. The PE buckles are a little heavyhanded and featureless. The carpeting is nice and the rubber floor mats sport the Mustang logo. The vent windows are the nicest I've seen with simulated weather stripping and latch mechanism simulated in chrome except for the lever which was molded with the clear piece for some reason. Likewise the the interior door locks were molded with the red interior panel instead of the chrome side window frame.
