1977 saw a bold new “Batmobile" front end with quad square headlamps, a new pointed nose, and a new “honeycomb” grille. With the addition of the W50 Formula Appearance Package , the car wore a low trim-stripe that carried the Formula name in any of the six available body colors, and the hood’s twin scoops were blacked out. Cast-aluminum “snowflake” wheels were now standard, as was the 301 cid. V-8, with the familiar 350 as optional. (05/14/2004) |
