I can't tell you how impressed I am with the tight build tolerances of this model. The hood, doors and whale-tailed engine hatch are fitted as if directly from original blueprints from Porsche itself. Speaking of the doors; they open within the front fenders and literally snap back. They are spring loaded. The hood removes entirely, but is so well fitted that it stays in place with the car upside down. You already know Exoto's paint process provides a flawless finish so on to the multi-levels of detailing. Wire mesh is used on the air ducting; grill, rear fender front and top. Louvered vents are genuine cut-out affairs on front fender tops, Rear engine hatch and spoiler base. The engine detail, especially seen from below, is awe-inspiring. Remove a fat rear slick with the provided tool and you see an unfettered view of suspension and transaxle detailing. The interior roll cage, racing seats and belts and dash assembly fool you into believing it is real. Each fuel line, battery cable and plug wire adds to the model's craftsmanship and the car's mystique. The turbo hoses are actually hollow; the slicks are brushed and realistic. The stance is accurate and the X-ray livery paint scheme is uniquely cool! The additional racing graphics too, lend a more authentic touch to the diecast. This is so well done, you'll think you can just add fuel and go racing!! Don't forget your helmet.
