This is a high wing version of the famed McLaren series driven by Dan Gurney. The Chaparral-type rear airfoil added down force to the rear wheels. Powered by an aluminum 430 cid, the Chevy big block reportedly put out over 680 hp!

GMP recreated this little beauty in detail! The rear wing removes as a 1-piece unit. The rear section can be removed to reveal a detailed Chevy big block. The engine is even wired. The bright orange exterior grabs you and the delicate tampo printing is correctly scaled. It's nice to see that scale was preserved, as many manufacturers tend to enlarge tampos. This practice not only detracts from a model's appearance, but also makes a model appear toy-like. The interior is nicely detailed in this scale, as well. Tires have tampo "Goodyear" logos.

Another in a series of 1:43rd Can Am Racers released by GMP. A real treat and like potato chips, you can't just have one!
