Jim Wangers’ Woodward Racer rolled off the assembly line as a 1970 Ram Air IV, 4-speed GTO with a 3.90 limited slip rear end and equipped with the infamous “Tiger Button”. The Tiger Button was a vacuum operated exhaust system that when activated changed the direction of the baffles within the mufflers allowing for a free flowing exhaust…and of course a louder, more aggressive sound. Jim’s Woodward Racer was then spiffed up a bit with Tiger Gold paint on the wheels, hood scoops, Judge eyebrow stripes, rear deck and rear spoiler. Also added to this special model is a special Jim Wangers engraved plaque on the gas tank and his signature on the visor.
