How Jouef got this level of precision detailing in such a small package is beyond me. It is as good as the other diecasts in this series or better. Up front, the hood tilts open to show off a metal screen inside of the grille. A wire mesh-shrouded radiator is beautifully replicated and on the windshield, we see the minute photoetched wiper that is just amazing. The doors open to show dramatic detail for so diminutive a model. But the price of admission belongs solely to the engine compartment. The rear hatch opens so delicately on two thin pieces of metal that when closed, blend almost unnoticeably into the roof. The engine reveals a twin turbo power plant, small structural bracing, exhaust plumbing and the metal springs that allow operational rear suspension! Tilt the front open while the rear hatch is aloft and you can see unbelievable detail on all four tire treads. The paint is rich, the doors fit precisely and the overall stance and scaling are magnificent. This is a great little Ferrari, and I do mean little. (01/02/2000)
