  Kyosho 1:18 1966 MG MG-B MK-1 diecast car

Kyosho has been widely known as an excellent diecast value.

This MGB roadster is certainly no exception. Of the colors available on this model, British Racing Green seems a natural. The paint is lavishly applied and highly glossy and smooth. The convertible boot and seats have a 'soft' feel and the carpets look realistic. Plenty of interior detail in window cranks and door-pulls, and the dash is superb for this scale. The doors, hood and trunk open easily and the fit is perfectly executed. The detailing that sets the MG off so well lies in the grill, the wire wheels and the molded plastic two-tone amber and clear front turn signals with rear lights of amber and red. The engine is fully plumbed and wired, with small decals on the air cleaners to lend a nice touch of realism. The wipers are separately produced and show well. The undercarriage is well defined and gives the model an overall look of diecasts costing much more. (08/13/1999)
