Kyosho hits the spot with the excellent new Mark II Austin-Healey 3000. I just received this and have to say it is way up there on the Tech Scale! The A-H is flawlessy finished in 2-tone Light Green over Eggshell with a white interior piped in blue. The model comes with 2 excellent fitting tops (up & down), excellent fit & finish, properly hinged doors, a magnificently detailled A-H 3 litre 6 cylinder engine, and a complete set of 5 of the most beautiful, accurate (short of fine photo-etched examples) wire wheels I've ever seen! It's all set up and hunkered down just like the 1:1 factory version.
Both tops fit with no gaps or problems, the raised top being my personal fav. Seats are sof-touch and the dash/IP detail will literally drop your jaw (Kyosho has the market cornered when it comes to woodgrain and instrument detail). "Glass" is jeweler's polish clear without distortion and the taillights and rear turnsignal lenses are correctly clear red and clear amber. The trunk is fully (and properly) outfitted and the decklid (as well as the doors and hood panels) operate smoothly, seamlessly, and tightly. The real head-turner is the stunning 2 tone paintwork: flawlessly executed, sharply delineated, the colors immediately attract and dazzle the eye...a real compliment to the entire effort put into this magnificent British Sports Car Classic
