This car sparkles with talent. This car has so much to offer, it is hard to begin. Starting with the polished metal hood and the flawless British racing green paint job, Kyosho didn't miss a beat. When you pull this car out of the clever styrofoam inner carton, the car starts off by "just" feeling good. The motor is fabulous, and fully equipped. The wiring, paint, and compartment are delightful. The interior is first rate, the dash, steering wheel, carpeting, and seat belts help make this a first rate model. The Caterham Super Seven even comes with independant side curtains and removable top. The roll bar sits on a simulated leather cover-most stunning. The wheels are excellent along with the side pipes. The polished metal is also carried on through along the side body panels which really set off the green paint. The front grille sizzles with delicate and defined bars. All of the light fittings are glass (plastic) and the rear end treatment sports the polished metal along with a handsome spare tire and chrome gas cap. The under-carriage is excellent. This is one of the models where I have not been able to find a flaw. This is a diecast model car at its best. And it represents well, one of motorsports fastest and most loved 1:1 cars. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I give it five stars with no regrets. (11/04/2001) |
