The 1948 #1 356 roadster comes with 5 operating panels ( the hood w/support rod, deck, engine access cover and doors), and operating suspension. The engine which is barely visible lacks wiring but with a combo of chrome and painted parts looks ok. the deck has a spare w/leather painted 3-pt restraint. The windscreen is reasonable thin and clear with molded in wipers. The steering wheel is well done in chrome and ivory with the Porche emblem in the center. The dash is spartan with molded in features except for the speedometer and tach which are standout jewels legible with bezelsand glass. The doors have separate recessed outer door handles and the inner pull rope/handle combo are sepated parts, not molded in. The hood has the gastank, battery and weather stripping picked out with paint. Lenses are mostly there save for the tiny front parking lights and the little center red rear lights which are paintedwhere the amber and clear surrounds are lenses. The wheels are "steel" with chrome hubcaps. Tires are Dunlops. The fit of all the panels couldn't be tighter or more true.
