Sporting the new Euro "squat" style, the Audi TT may take a few months to catch on with the over 50 market. I personally think it is a very interesting look and have grown fond of its sturdy compact stance. Like the new VW Bug, the styling suggests "Cute" but, also very inviting to drive. Maisto did a very good job on this model. The one that I varoooomed, came in a very dark red (very nice color) featuring a perfect paint job. The interior is a step up from other Maisto offerings. The roll bars are chrome (not paint) along with interior sissy bars and air-conditioning-heater ducts. The instrument cluster is very realistic and stands out well. Steering wheel and seats along with the rest of the dash are also very well done. The head and tail light treatment are first class and the chrome gas cap, radio antenna, rear exhaust tips and beautiful wheels accent this model in a very exciting way. The motor is as good as you can do and the (interior) trunk is nice. The grille work is excellent including the separate chrome Audi rings. The rear trunk Audi rings are painted but don't look bad. The small (very small) TT decals on the rear left and the Audi decal on the right rear do not distract. Like most of Maisto's models, it obviously features opening hood, doors, trunk and sports a real "spring" suspension. I gave this car 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Oh, heck......I'll give a five!
